Terms of Service
Last updated November 2, 2026
Melbee is operated by LC Computer Build and Repair ("we"). By creating a workspace or using Melbee, you agree to these terms for yourself and your business.
The service
Melbee helps businesses capture leads, reply to customers using AI, take bookings, and send estimates and invoices.
AI replies
Melbee's replies are written by AI and can be wrong. You are responsible for your prices, your service details, and what is sent to your customers in your name. Check your settings and review your conversations.
Your account
Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity in your workspace. You must be able to legally agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
Acceptable use
- Don't send spam, or contact people who haven't asked to hear from you.
- Don't use Melbee for anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful.
- Don't try to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service.
- Follow the laws that apply to your messages to customers, including consent rules for email and texts.
Plans and billing
New workspaces start with a 14-day free trial and no card is required. Paid plans and add-ons renew monthly through Square until canceled, and each add-on is billed as its own charge. Plan changes take effect on your next bill. If a charge fails, Melbee keeps working for 7 days. After that, it stops replying to your customers until the bill is paid.
Canceling
You can cancel any time on the Billing page. Your plan stays on through the period you already paid for. We don't give refunds for partial months unless the law requires it.
Taking payments
If you connect your Square account, payments from your customers go to you under your agreement with Square. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks on those payments are yours to handle.
Your data
Your business's data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service. See our Privacy Policy.
Ending access
We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
No warranty
Melbee is provided "as is." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular amount of business.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Melbee means you accept the new terms.
